I didn't intend to wait so long to write about Brittany's senior portrait session, but the timing worked out. This beautiful girl just made the move to Mitchell College in New London. She's going to be such a great teacher one day, and this week marks the beginning of her journey. I am so proud of you, Brittany! You are gong to do great!
When Brittany told me she wanted a rural setting for her portraits, I knew exactly where we needed to go. And so we took a two-part field trip for Brittany's session. First stop: Lock 12 Park in Cheshire. The setting is so lovely that I couldn't pass up the opportunity of making a quick stop there on the way to our second stop: Brooksvale Park in Hamden. Brooksvale Park has the most perfect red barn and (apparently) the friendliest mares around. We had a great time during Brittany's session, although we were a bit delayed when a gust of wind knocked some of my equipment directly into a canal. (My biggest regret is not taking any pictures of Brittany's dad fishing my gear out of the watery depths. It really was so funny!) Brittany was an awesome model. It's not easy being in front of the camera, but Brittany totally rocked it.
