Joana and Jason ~ Connecticut Maternity Photography

I was lucky enough to photograph Joana and Jason this summer when their very thoughtful cousin asked me to surprise the expecting mom and dad with a maternity portrait session. Call me crazy, but I just think portraits are the best gift a person can give. I met Joana and Jason at Elizabeth Park (which, as you know, is one of my absolute favorite places in Connecticut) and was thrilled to find out that the surprise was a success! They had no idea they would be getting portraits taken that morning! They were on their way to their baby shower, and made the stop at the park at the request of their very crafty cousin. It was amazing planning and craftiness on her part. (Awesome planning, Annette!) This couple would undoubtedly have looked gorgeous even if they had arrived in rags, but, as you can see, that was not the case. I absolutely love the dress that Joana donned and Jason was perfectly coordinated. They were styled to perfection! And it has to be said that these two were just so unbelievably kind and sweet. Their little princess was due at the beginning of this month, and I know that they are already amazing parents. Joana and Jason - congratulations!! Are you interested in a maternity portrait session?
