The Hagan Family

One of the greatest joys of my job is having opportunities like this - to be invited into the life of a family; to be able to capture little moments that fit together to tell a part of their story. It is an amazing thing to be a part of, and I am so grateful every day. When a family asks me to illustrate their story over time, my heart overflows Last year at this time, Shana and Justin asked me to create portraits in celebration of their first pregnancy - such an exciting chapter! It was a gorgeous, winter-themed Connecticut maternity session at Southford Falls State Park. You can view them here! And it seems like only yesterday that we planned Benjamin's newborn portraits. To my delight, Shana and Justin decided later to add on a grow-with-me plan in order to finish capturing Benjamin's first year. Here are some of my favorites to share. Although it was difficult to pick just a few. As I am posting this, sweet little Benjamin is gearing up to turn 2 in January! Time really does fly!
