Tea Party
I am so lucky to have two of the best little subjects living right under my very own roof. Two little girls who love all things dress-up? What could be more fun to photograph?!? When I was given the task of creating some environmental portraits, my mind immediately turned to my littles. So I got to work setting up a little tea party (tutus and all) with the intention of capturing my two gals playing together. My older one had different ideas, so the this event became a party of one. I love seeing shots like this that just simply capture childhood. My favorite thing is just how seriously little Carson is taking the whole thing. Just check out how intently involved she is in her conversation with her dolly! This is definietly one of those moments that I will look back on in a few years and cry because my baby has grown up. I am totally going to embarrass my children when they get older ("My baby is going to ... sob!! sniffle!! ... prom!"). My apologies in advance, girls.
P.S. Thanks to my sister for helping me out with this one. She came over for some coffee and ended up being my baby wrangler/pretend tea taster. It's always nice to have an awesome assistant!
