That’s a Wrap! 2014 Year in Review

Is it March already??? Every year, I try to take time to look back at the previous year to reflect on all that I have done. While I do this, it's always fun for me to weed out my very favorite images. It seems that is always takes me this long to post my year in review. It's not always easy to narrow it down. It's not always easy to use an objective eye, either. My favorites are not always technically great, but are sometimes just very personal to me - an image that brings back a great memory of a special someone or that captures a perfectly fabulous expression speak to my heart and often rise to the top as my favorites. Those are the shots that ignite my passion for what I do. And while I am always working and practicing on the technical stuff, I never want to lose the eye for those special things. I am lucky that I am able to do what I love and that I get to meet and work with so many lovely people. Looking back at the images of the families, the couples, all of the kids from the tiniest newborns to the high school seniors, I feel so grateful for the opportunities that I have had to capture a piece of life for all of them. And now, onward to 2015. I cannot wait to see what (else!) this new year has to bring.
